Voice Translations is graduating from Early Access
Voice to Voice Translations has been in Early Access for 2025 Q1 through a waitlist program. This allowed us to gather feedback, test for quality, and understand usage before making it generally available.
During this time, only users enrolled into Early Access were allowed to create Voice Clones. Users were also limited on how many Voice to Voice Translations they could perform.
As part of the official release of this feature to everyone, we will be introducing a Credits system and shortening the name to "Voice Translations".
Credits will be distributed for free or even earned through different in-app activities. Larger quantities will be available for purchase.
Instant text translations will always remain free
Free text translation is a core functionality and will always be free. No credits required.
What are Credits?
Credits are an in-app currency that can be exchanged for Voice Translations. They can be earned or purchased in larger amounts.
What can I do once I have Credits?
You can exchange them for Voice Translations that are gifted to any of your favorite chats! Once a chat has been gifted Voice Translations, any member can translate Voice Messages using the gifted amount.
Is there a way to try it out without Credits?
Certainly! You can create a Voice Clone and hear yourself speak different languages from the Voice Translations Demo. However, in order for others to receive translated voice messages using your created voice clone, you'll need to make sure the chat has Voice Translations.
